Bertrand Russell’s arguments are the best I’ve read up to date. However no matter how many times I apply them in random debates when someone brings up Christianity, Christians remain steadfast resorting to ambigious and unprovable Biblical passages. I’m never sure whether to admire them or not for their blind commitment. For it seems even great minds like Wittgenstein, Nietzsche, Russel himself, and countless others had struggles over the belief in God. However, I understand Russel is arguing against the Christian God and the Christian Church, not necessarily the God that most ontological proofs focus on.
