Kent McManigal for President (Who?)

Monday, May 7, 2007

I took a quiz that was supposed to tell me who I should vote for in the 2008 election. He’s a dirty long-haired cowboy from the looks of his picture, but he’s a straight shooter when it comes to the issues. A true libertarian.

Now all he needs is a shower, a haircut and a new set of clothes.

Oh the comedy.

No chance in hell he’ll get elected.

It’s the guys with the pretty hair.

    Anyways… yeah, sucks. :-\

I’m only running as a “write-in” candidate now. Just because my hair is long-ish doesn’t mean I am dirty. Well, sometimes. I tried to clean up my image for a while, but no one took me a bit more seriously, and I felt like an idiot, too. So I went back to the real me.

Thanks for the (otherwise) kind words. LOL

I didn’t mean to be unkind, Kent. I appreciate your motivation and resolve to run, even as a write-in candidate.

I agree that the typical political types probably wouldn’t care how you dress, but (unfortunately?) where it counts — in the general population — it does matter how you look. I think everyone remembers or has heard the story of the Kennedy vs. Nixon debate in 1960.

I took that same (I assume) quiz, and according to that, I should vote for Kent. So I did some more reading and was so excited to find such a no BS candidate that has the same views on EVERYTHING as myself (that I read). Then SO disappointed to see he’s not running anymore. Kent if I were a rich man I’d finance you all the way. Thanks for tryin’. If you get back into it you’ve got my vote every time.
