CNN Falls Dangerously Short

Monday, January 14, 2008

Does it bother anyone else that CNN hasn’t updated their money statistics on the 2008 election candidates since September 30, 2007? That’s over three months ago.

The resulting disparity is so great that their negligence has reached the point of being irresponsible and unethical. The people who read CNN are being misinformed of statistics that otherwise might influence their decisions. Withholding the latest information seems tantamount to lying outright about the financial positions of the candidates. I won’t speculate about the order in which the candidates currently appear on that page, but suffice it to say that it is markedly different from reality.
