I'm upset with the bloated budget Congress just passed.

I am dismayed that my house representative and both of my senators voted for a hugely inflated budget with unfathomable deficits. President Obama was elected with the understanding that he would get rid of wasteful spending and re-appropriate it for his misguided social endeavors. Of course it's easier to just increase the tax and debt burden, so that's exactly what he's doing.

As my elected representatives for this government, you hold the responsibility behind the escalation of this disastrous budget and the weakened economy that this only worsens. Stop trying to pass the buck to President Obama or economists who promise that everything will be okay if we just take out a few trillion more in debt so we can spend our way out of economic destitution.

Please be clear about this—I withdraw my consent for you to spend my money on any of the new projects the proposed budget authorizes. Do not force me to empty my wallet for your misguided schemes. I do not want them.

Sincerely,
Brad Fults
